How this bracket works
- Winners bracket: 31 games — Same seeding as single elimination — but one loss here drops you into the losers bracket, not out.
- Losers bracket: 30 games — The second chance. Lose here and you're eliminated; winners keep feeding back toward the final.
- Grand final + reset — The winners' bracket champion meets the losers' bracket champion. If the losers' bracket champion wins, they play one reset game for the title.
- No byes — 32 is a power of two, so everyone plays round 1 of the winners bracket.

How many byes does a 32-team bracket have?
None — 32 is a power of two, so the bracket is perfectly balanced and every team plays in round 1.
How are teams seeded and paired?
Standard seeding: the 32-slot bracket is filled so the strongest seeds meet the weakest — 1 vs 32, 16 vs 17, 8 vs 25, 9 vs 24, …. Seed 1 and seed 32 sit at opposite ends.
