The rules of using these free tools

1. What MatchupKing is

MatchupKing provides free online tools for sports fans — bracket makers, squares grids, pool hosting, scores and simulations. The tools are for entertainment purposes only. Nothing on this site is a gambling service, contest operator, or financial product.

2. No money, ever

We do not accept entry fees, hold stakes, collect wagers, or pay out prizes — in any form, for anyone. If your group plays for a prize, that arrangement is entirely yours: collect and settle it offline, outside the tools. Pool leaderboards on this site are standings for bragging rights, nothing more.

3. No accounts

The tools work without registration. Data you create lives in your browser or behind share links you choose to hand out. Pool managers control their pools from the device where the pool was created. If you lose the device or the link, the content is gone — we have no account recovery because there are no accounts.

4. Data accuracy

Scores, schedules, standings and tournament fields come from public data feeds on a best-effort schedule, with the fetch timestamp shown on data pages. We work hard to be accurate — but numbers can be stale or wrong. Don't make decisions that matter (including any prize settlement) without verifying against the official source.

5. Trademarks

Team, league and event names are used for identification only. MatchupKing is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the NFL, NCAA, or any league, team, or broadcaster. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. We deliberately use generic descriptions ("the big game", "college basketball tournament") for trademarked event names.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use the tools for gambling operations, don't scrape the API endpoints, don't misrepresent MatchupKing content as official league material. We may block abusive usage patterns (rate-limit scraping, spam grid creation) without notice.

7. Liability

The tools are provided as-is, free of charge, with no warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MatchupKing is not liable for any damages arising from use of the tools — including busted brackets and lost office arguments.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes get a new date on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
